Therefore, pensioners, retirees and other insured persons of the National Institute of Social Security who won lawsuits against the body and have arrears of up to R$ 72.7 thousand will be entitled. In order to have access to receiving the amount, the action must have already ended with no further chance of appeal by the INSS, as well as the Justice must have issued a payment order in November.

This amount of R$ 1.6 billion will be taken to

Federal Regional Courts (TRFs), which, in turn, will be responsible for coordinating the deposits following the established schedules. On these dates established by each TRF, beneficiaries will have the amounts due deposited in an account at Banco do Brasil or Caixa Econômica Federal. To check the date on which the amount will be made available, it is necessary to consult the lawyer in the case or the TRF in which the case was judged.

Below, learn more about the amounts that each Federal Regional Court will receive to pass on to beneficiaries:

  • TRF of the 1st Region (DF, MG, GO, TO, MT, BA, PI, MA, PA, AM, AC, RR, RO and AP): It will receive R$670.4 million for payment of 34,327 processes, with 40,303 beneficiaries;
  • TRF of the 2nd Region (RJ and ES): It will receive R$ 107.3 million for the payment of 5,237 processes, with 7,038 beneficiaries;
