Although employees of private companies are entitled to the benefit, not all of them fit into this category. First, the worker must be active in the service and comply with Law nº 13.932/2019 or belong to other groups with access to PIS:

There are ways to check your PIS with the CPF, either through the Caixa Trabalhador application or via the Caixa Econômica Federal website or telephone. Check out the step-by-step for each modality below!
Caixa Trabalhador is available on your Android or iOS mobile phone store. So just download the program, open the application, enter your CPF number and your Gov.br website password.
Then look for the PIS details in the upper corner of the screen, and if you need help, look for the option to ask questions. But remember, you need to have an account on the Gov.br platform, and if you don't, go to the website and register!
First, access the official website of Caixa Econômica, go to the “Benefits and Programs” option and then “Worker Benefits”. Now select “PIS” and then “Consult payment”.
Then, fill in the blank fields with the PIS number and password, however, if this is your first access, you will need to register! Finally, the PIS consultation can also be done through the Caixa Econômica Customer Service Center, with the number 158!
