One way to remove this cost from citizens' budgets is through the CNH Social Program. In this case, we are referring to a project that was born out of a partnership between the Social Service of Transport (SEST) and the National Transport Learning Service (SENAT).
Its first edition took place in 2011. Since then, it has been seen that the Federal Government has encouraged the states to decide to join the program, since this benefit is not yet available in all of Brazil, but only in the federative units that adopted the project since the start.
Currently, around 18 of the 26 states, together with the Federal District, have accepted the program, but there are expectations that new ones will start offering it to the population. In short, Brazilians from the following states can receive this benefit:
