Film tells the story of the friendship of a 13-year-old boy and a puppy
A 13-year-old boy, Finn (Lucas McHugh Carroll), becomes the target of bullies at his new school and he is feeling hopeless, until he meets the dog Marshall, with whom he creates an immediate bond of friendship. The animal is caged in deplorable conditions after being captured by a dog collector. The boy knows he must rescue Marshall, who is injured and urgently needs a veterinarian.
