WhatsApp will stop working on some mobile devices

If you have a device whose version is iOS 10 or iOS 11, you will need to update urgently if you still intend to use WhatsApp after October 24th. That is, you can still use this application on iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S, but you will need to update your iOS.

As for iPhone 5 and 5C models, it really won't be possible anymore, since they can't update their iOS versions. In view of this, it will really be necessary to invest in a slightly more current model.
