It was announced, last Monday (24), a Central Bank's new tool which stirred the interest of many Brazilians. That's because this functionality, called “Values Receivable”, promises to track the existence of payments from people who were held up in financial institutions.
Thus, Brazilians would have access to a kind of extract, in which it would be possible to find values that are “lost”, but which are theirs. According to the Central Bank, there is a large amount totaling these values, in an amount that exceeds R$ 8 billion.

With that, thousands of Brazilians became interested in doing the tracking, which can be done by accessing the BC's official website. However, the great demand for information and access caused the platform to crash, leading BC to temporarily suspend functionality.
While the Central Bank does not make the “Values Receivable” functionality available again, we will explain how you can access it. And this is quite simple, as the option is on the BC website itself, in the “Registration” section. Therefore, the first step is to access the platform and then go to the menu and select the option Register. Then, go to the “Values Receivable” option and fill in the information according to the requests.
At that first moment, you will be able to make a query, and also know the information on how the withdrawal of the payment can be made. In addition, the function is also available to companies and legal entities and, in these cases, payment will be made via Pix to the informed account.
According to Central Bank calculations, there is an average of R$ 3.9 billion in amounts that are withheld due to specific situations. For example, this is the case of checking or savings accounts that were closed with an available balance, or even tariffs, installments or obligations related to credits that were charged unduly.
The value may also come from capital quotas and apportionment referring to net surpluses of beneficiaries and credit union participants or beneficiary resources that are related to consortium groups that closed The activities. However, it is worth noting that this information is provided by the institutions themselves, and is their responsibility.
Even so, Brazilians saw the role as a possibility to redeem values that are rightfully theirs and that would help at that time. So, don't forget to also make the consultation and share this article with friends who need to know this news!
