There are many benefits provided by the INSS in this year 2022, such as the famous retirements and pensions, assistance benefits, financial aid and some assistance for workers, check in detail the follow!
Retirement is the best known benefit that is granted by the INSS. However, to guarantee the right to benefit, the worker must contribute to the INSS for 30 years. for women and 35 years for men and to be at least 57.5 for women and 62.5 for men men. In addition, retirements can be due to disability, urban or rural age, contribution time or special retirement.
Pensions are provided for people with certain conditions, such as a special pension for children with Congenital Zika Virus Syndrome, Thalidomide Syndrome Pension, Leprosy Pension or Pension for death.
Assistance benefits, however, are for people who have never contributed to the INSS. Unlike retirement, those insured by assistance benefits cannot leave a pension for dependents after their death and also do not earn 13th salary.
There are two types of assistance benefits. The first is the Continuous Provision Benefit (BPC), intended for seniors aged 65 or over and people with any disability that causes limitation.
The second is the Assistance Benefit for Independent Port Workers, indicated for employees who work in the separate modality in the port sector, who are low-income and have at least 60 years of experience age.
Furthermore, in addition to the popular retirement pensions, the INSS also provides financial aid, such as common sick pay, accident sick pay, urban seclusion aid and rural seclusion aid.
Finally, workers who contribute to social security also have rights to some assistance, such as maternity pay, family allowance and artisanal fisherman's closed season insurance!
