According to the German psychologist Hermann Ebbinghaus, forgetting some studied contents is inevitable. The question, however, is in the way in which our memory deals with the assimilation of the content.
According to him, there is a relationship between the studied content, its retention by memory and the period of time in which this information remains in it. Thus, if you are not exercising your memory with the contents you have already learned, sooner or later you will forget what you studied.
1. The first tip is to review the content. Whenever you study, leave a time at the end of the day to review the content studied, and on weekends, do exercises to fix everything that was learned during the week. The more revision, the more chance of fixing the matter.
2. Another tip is: whenever you can, review the content. Do a quick read whenever you forget something, use flash cards to fix those you couldn't memorize and read whenever you can.
3. Exercise whenever you finish studying something. They are fundamental to verify your learning and fix the content. In this way, do exercises at the end of the reading and as many times as you feel the need during the week. Remember: the more reviews, the closer you are to approval.
