In 2022, thousands of Brazilians were able to take advantage of the year-end bonus advance, the 13th Salary, between April and June. This was a decision by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security as a way to heat up the economy by stimulating Brazilian consumption.
Generally, workers with a formal contract receive the annual allowance in two installments between the months of November and December. However, in this specific case, due to the advance payment, the following groups will be able to use the single installment like those who received it in the first semester:
Here it is worth noting that those who receive the Continuous Cash Benefit, the BPC, or Lifetime Monthly Income (RMV) do not fit into this group. That's because both groups don't even have the right to the 13th salary. In addition, it should be specified that they are retirees and pensioners who entered the payroll as of May.
