This exercise can be done on the way to work, in the park, or at home as you move from room to room. To do this, just bring full attention to your movements. Notice, with every step you take, what it feels like to lift your leg, bend your knees. Notice the small adjustments your body makes, moment by moment, to maintain balance. And start noticing more subtle aspects, such as the pressure you use when stepping on the ground, the difference in weight distributed between the toes and the heels. Notice your breathing, not trying to change it or force it, just noticing how the in-breath and out-breath happen naturally. This helps to broaden your body awareness.
