The week of voting in the National Congress promises to be quite hectic. The expectation is that the deputies analyze the Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) that studies the increase of the Brazil Aid from R$400 to R$600 and also creates a truck driver voucher, worth R$1,000, in addition to assistance for taxi drivers.
The proposal also aims to increase the value of the gas aid, which is currently R$53, to R$120. This PEC was approved last week by the Senate.

A provisional measure aimed at regulating teleworking was also added to the agenda of deputies. Another priority for Congress in the coming days is to revise the Pelé Law, which, among other things, regulates professions of martial arts and yoga teachers, also recognizing the physical educator as a professional of health.
There is also a forecast that deputies and senators carry out the analysis on presidential vetoes. At the moment, there is a queue of approximately 36 vetoes awaiting the parliamentary vote.
Among them, President Jair Bolsonaro's veto on the return of free baggage on flights. As a justification for the veto, the president alleges that the measure is contrary to the public interest, because not charging for baggage handling could increase the cost of tickets.
Since 2017, there is no charge for the dispatch of baggage by airlines. At that time, companies said that charging for dispatch would allow tickets to have their value reduced, which when it was put into practice, it did not happen.
