Also known as "Major Disability", the benefit additional Disability pension, 25%, is a benefit granted to policyholders who require lifelong assistance from others.
This benefit is foreseen in article 45 of Law nº 8.213/91, based on the Federal Constitution, and is in line with the principle of the dignity of the human person - moral and spiritual value inherent to the human being, that is, this guarantee.
The objective is to provide the insured person with a subsidy to pay for the work of the caregiver and obtain a better quality of life. To receive this benefit, he must be evaluated by a specialist doctor from the INSS itself.
For those who are already retired or are being evaluated for disability retirement to be entitled to benefit, you must have one or more of the following health conditions:
To start the application process, the applicant must first access the “My INSS” website and select the “New Request” option. Then just enter the name of the benefit desired and proceed with the other steps of the order.
The assessment of the INSS license will determine whether the retiree is entitled to a 25% increase in the benefit amount. In addition, the final result will depend on the approval of the supervisor who will carry out the medical evaluations of the insured.
