Cultivating positive thoughts is not the same as ignoring the problems around you. It's about facing adversity with optimism and hoping for the best, not the worst. Studies have already revealed that optimistic people live longer and have greater physical and mental disposition.
In this age of hyperconnectivity, it's never been easier to stay in touch with other people. But it is important that the communication has quality and depth. Be interested in following important moments of friends and family, and try to talk more often about how you feel.
