First place: Lut Desert – Iran
Being one of the largest deserts in the world (occupying the 25th position), this area is located in the southeast of Iran and, according to the measurements of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States (NASA), the temperature of surfaces present at the site has already managed to exceed the 70°C mark.
