Have you ever imagined yourself inside a plane, 10,000 meters high, with no one commanding the stick? Desperate, isn't it? Know, however, that, as frightening as it may seem, it is a reality that is getting closer and closer to us.
There are many researches, including in Brazil, that study the possibility of unmanned planes, commanded by robots and artificial intelligence.
The technology follows the line of so-called “autonomous cars”, which do not need drivers and are already a reality in the world. In planes, however, changes are not so simple, due to the differences and complexity of operations.
Despite this, today, many “tasks” of an airplane, on a journey, are already performed by machines.
