The breathing process takes place in all parts of the plant's structure, but mainly in the leaves, where there are a greater number of stomata, which are capable of exchanging gases.
The curious thing is that many people don't think that plants breathe in the dark, in the absence of light, at night, just like us, since the day we were born!
The plant can also perform, through the stomata, in addition to respiration, a process called transpiration. There it eliminates the water in the form of steam. On hotter days, the entire amount of water is saved, so the plant does not become dehydrated. On these days, she closes her stomata, like a door!
