The existence of intelligent life outside of Earth is still a subject that causes divergent opinions around the world, but there are several scientists who are looking for evidence that aliens there are and possible contacts with these lives throughout the universe. However, it is clear that, if one day this happens, the impact on humanity will be of gigantic proportions.
Therefore, computer scientist John Elliot has been dedicated to the elaboration of rules so that humanity is ready for this contact. Understand better below.

The existence of aliens divides opinions, however, just as no one has been able to prove their legitimacy, no one has also been able to prove that they do not exist. Therefore, great world powers like Japan are preparing for the possibility. The country monitors UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) with seven air bases that identify and track any and all unknown aircraft in its territory. The ministry intends to carry out procedures to respond, record and report possible encounters.
In 1989, the first and, until then, only alien contact protocol was created by SETI (Institute for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). However, it was revised many years ago and has already become insufficient for communication with extraterrestrials. The protocol, although it values the sharing of information about extraterrestrial life with the population and scientists, in case of contact, the main instruction is to contact the United Nations or some organization governmental. However, they still do not have a predefined protocol of actions for this communication known by the scientific community.
For there to be contact, SETI intends to build signs of possible messages sent by aliens to, from that, develop a structure over them and attribute meaning, being a system capable of not only documenting information, but also interpreting it. The protocol still intends to build ready-made ways to respond to these messages, so that communication is done in the fullest possible way.
In October, the US Department of Defense released a report showing no evidence of alien life in the last 140 UFOs encountered by the US military. However, conspiracy theories about the appearance of extraterrestrial life arise all the time. Thinking about it, humanity needs to be ready in case they cease to be just theories, after all, it is not possible to predict when, how, or even if this will happen one day.
