Find out more about Inclusion Aid

This help is seen as a way to encourage people who have some kind of disability to be independent and find work without losing their income.

This benefit is regulated by Ordinance Dirben/INSS No. 949, of November 18, 2021 and granted by the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). In this way, an amount of half the minimum wage is allocated to the beneficiary. Thus, in 2022, this amount corresponds to BRL 606.

Who is entitled to receive this benefit?

All BPC beneficiaries or former beneficiaries who entered the formal job market in the last five years and earn less than two minimum wages are entitled to inclusion assistance.

These people will receive half the minimum wage as an incentive to enter and remain working. Thus, the benefit will also be paid while they are employed, that is, the salary and benefit values will be added together. To gain access, in addition to entering the job market, the person must be registered in the Single Registry of Social Programs (CadÚnico) and have updated data on the website.

In addition, the citizen's CPF must also be regularized before the competent body. Another requirement that it is important to pay attention to in order to apply for the Inclusion Aid is to correctly fulfill the conditions for maintaining the BPC, especially with regard to family income.

Therefore, these people will be able to make the request through any means of INSS communication, such as the website, telephone channel 135, or through the “Meu INSS” application. In addition, for those who want to do this in person, it is possible to apply at one of the INSS service centers.
