Thanks to the water cycle, the beings that inhabit the Earth have water for consumption. To understand this cycle in a simple way, think that the water on the Earth's surface, when heated by the sun's rays, evaporates, that is, it turns into a vapor. This water vapor rises to the highest layers of the atmosphere, where the temperature is lower, and there it condenses, that is, it returns to a liquid form, being stored in clouds. With rain, this water returns to Earth – which can also happen in the form of snow or hail. And it is this cycle that guarantees the maintenance of drinking water (good for consumption) on the planet. Got it?
