A decree that was published by the government of São Paulo on the 14th is intended to open the possibility of exemption from the Property Tax on Motor Vehicles (IPVA) for people with disabilities (PwD) who have medical reports from previous years, so that they can use these documents in the application for the exemption benefit related to IPVA for the years 2022 and 2023.

When a Disabled Person, who has already adhered to this IPVA exemption benefit in the years of 2020 or 2021, perform the re-registration, the report will be automatically generated within the SIVEI platform.
