“Memories of a Donkey"

First published in 1860, this book tells the adventures of Cadichon, a wise donkey who writes his memoirs. Because of his smartness and intelligence, he ends up teaching a lot to humans and showing the importance of reflecting on one's actions, of repenting and seeking to correct the mistakes made. And, above all, to treat animals well, to love them, respect them, __________ are great friends of ours.

Cadichon lived in a time when life was completely different from the one we lead today and belonged to different owners. With each one, he had a type of life: sometimes sad and sacrificed, sometimes happy, peaceful, sometimes very, very funny and adventurous… A life full of movement, of dangers and pitfalls, of difficulties and also of joys and learning, which made the nice little donkey a hero - sometimes clumsy, but hero…
