Simple tips to keep flies away from any environment

The house needs to be a pleasant home for the family and, therefore, it must be peaceful and pleasant to live in. However, this is not always possible when some unwanted insects are present in the environment, especially flies. In addition to inconvenience, they can contaminate food and bring diseases. Scare away flies using rock salt

One of the simplest and cheapest ways to get flies away from your home is using rock salt. This ingredient can even scare away cockroaches, other mosquitoes and moths. To make this recipe, all you need is coarse salt and cloves in an open glass container, filled with gel alcohol.

One of the benefits of using this mixture with rock salt is that it also helps eliminate unpleasant odors from any environment. Thus, place the pot where the flies usually appear and, if possible, make more than one vase to spread around the house.

Other methods that will ward off flies

Lemon and Clove

• Take a lemon and a handful of cloves;
• Cut the lemon in half and insert the cloves into the cut strips;
• Place these halves in the kitchen to scare away flies.

vinegar water

• Take ½ liter of water and pour 100ml of white vinegar;
• Clean your house normally (it's important to keep it clean);
• Use a damp cloth with the mixture you made to apply it to the kitchen tables, floor and countertops.

Rue, water and alcohol 70%

• Place 1L of water in a blender along with 250ml of 70% alcohol;
• Then add some dried rue leaves;
• Beat everything in the blender and coe;
• Finally, store the mixture in a spray bottle and spray it around the house in the early evening.

Some care needed to keep flies away

• Avoid stacking dirty dishes: Food leftovers in dishes and pans attract flies, so do your best to keep dishes from piling up for too long.
• Change cloths of dish and sponges often: maintain the cleaning and preservation of cloths and sponges, as the presence of moisture in these items helps in the proliferation of bacteria, fungi and fly eggs.
• Take out the trash every day: organic waste attracts many flies, so it is essential to avoid its accumulation in the house, in addition to separating your waste (organic and recyclable).
