NAME:

the cocoa beaver

The Cocoa beaver loved to gather sticks and stones to build small dams in streams and rivers. Its dams were strong and safe. Cocoa never stopped to rest while working.
He worked hard, in the hot sun, until his dams were complete. One day, after building a small dam across a stream, a group of frogs jumped up to it and started talking with great excitement!
– The stream is about to overflow and flood the village.

– Cocoa, do something! – They screamed in despair.
Cocoa quickly went to the village to see that the river was close to overflowing. He started his work. Quickly and shrewdly, he picked up the strongest sticks and began to stop the flow of water towards the village.
Before long, the Cocoa Dam was completed and the village was safe again! The villagers' children began to feed Cocoa with the most selected maple leaves, as a sign of their eternal gratitude. The fruits of hard work are sweet!
