NAME:
The hen asked neighbors to watch her nest.
He asked the paw that lived on one side.
He asked the tortoise, who lived on the other side.
He asked the dove that lived above.
He asked the rabbit who lived downstairs.
And off went the hen scavenging worms for dinner.
The hen came back and counted the eggs. She counted once, twice, three times and was furious. She screamed:
- What happened?
But nobody saw it.
The dove above was dozing.
The paw, on one side, is distracted.
The tortoise, on the other hand, snored.
And the rabbit is gone.
The hen sat on her nest.
– I'll hatch this egg too. - she said.
But, always suspicious, she looked up and down.
He looked this way and that.
"Who is it that laid another egg in my nest?" Thought the chicken.
– Crack! Crack! Crack! – All the neighbors heard.
A chick came out of each egg. And that other one…
… A little duck came out!
