Ladybug Clarine was very hardworking, so her sisters left all the chores around the house for her to do. While Clarine washed, ironed, and cooked, her sisters strolled through the garden.
One day Clarine got sick and couldn't do her chores. Her sisters had to do everything and realized that this way they would not have time to walk around. With that, they decided to divide the housework so that the three could have fun.

They really wanted to go to the spring dance that would take place in a few days. Clarine dreamed of the ball, but she was very shy and only talked to her sisters. She wondered how she would behave at a party with so many guests.
When the big day came, Clarine plucked up her courage, put on a pretty dress, and went to the ball with her sisters. Once there, everyone found the most beautiful ladybug dress at the party and approached her to talk to her. Clarine was putting her shyness aside, and when she realized it, she was already talking to everyone at the dance.
