NAME:
Once, three mountain goats had to climb a slope to eat and get fat. On the way up, there was a bridge they had to cross. And under the bridge lived an ugly giant. The first to cross the bridge was the youngest goat.
– Who's trotting over my bridge? roared the giant.
“Oh, it's just me, the smallest of the mountain goats,” said the goat, in a soft voice.
“Here I come to devour you,” said the giant.
- Oh no! Please don't take me. I'm little! – said the goat. – Wait a while until the second goat arrives. He is much bigger.
Shortly thereafter, the second goat came to cross the bridge.
– Who's trotting over my bridge? – roared the giant.
– Ah, it's the second goat, I'm climbing the slope.
“Here I come to devour you,” said the giant.
- Oh no! Don't take me. Wait a while until the big goat arrives. He is much bigger.
Then he came up the big goat.
– Who's trotting over my bridge? – roared the giant.
- It's me! The big goat,” he said in a very loud voice.
“Here I come to devour you,” said the giant.
- Oh no! the big goat snarled back, hurling himself hard at the giant and crushing him to pieces.
The three mountain goats then enjoyed a sunny afternoon on the mountain, and they ate and gained weight.
