Published in the extra edition of the Official Gazette of the Union, the interministerial ordinance No. 6 regulates the Emergency Benefit for Autonomous Cargo Carriers. The purpose of the aid is to reduce the impacts caused by the increase in fuel prices.
The benefit is intended for self-employed truck drivers with CPF already registered in the National Registry of Road Cargo Carriers (RNTR-C) until May 31, 2022, with an "active" status, and Valid CNH. If the truck driver's registration is "pending" or "suspended", it is necessary to regularize the registration situation at the National Land Transport Agency and qualify to receive the benefit.
Truck drivers can check their registration status with the RNTR-C through the ANTT website. The query is carried out through the carrier, location or vehicle filters. The truck driver can also update data such as address or contact telephone number on this site. However, to change the data, it is necessary to enter the website of the RNTR-C Digital or in person, at ANTT stations.
The Truck Driver-TAC Benefit is not cumulative with the aid for taxi drivers and will be paid 1 per CPF, even if the truck driver has two or more vehicles registered. The amount to be deposited in a digital account must be withdrawn within ninety days.
The aid for truck drivers refers to the months of July to December 2022, with monthly installments of R$1 thousand, observing the limit of R$5.4 billion. On Tuesday (9), beneficiaries can withdraw the installments for the months of July and August.
The next installments will be paid on the following days:
The Ministry of Infrastructure will monthly forward to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security the list of truck drivers with “active” registration status in the RNTR-C. This is because the payment of the benefit will be related to retroactive and subsequent installments. The Federal Government estimates that up to 900,000 truck drivers should receive the benefit, without the need to prove the purchase of diesel oil to gain access to the money.
