This Wednesday (10) was announced the newest public tender of the Navy, which will open a selection process for fill 293 vacancies destined for training officers at the Merchant Navy Officer Training School (Efomm).
Registration for the event will be available from the 15th of May and will remain open until the 25th of the same month.

Interested parties must apply exclusively online, through the official website of the Almirante Graça Aranha Education Center (CIAGA), which is responsible for carrying out the contest. The registration fee is BRL 65.
As for the vacancies, the distribution was between Belém (PA), which will have 119 vacancies, and Rio de Janeiro (RJ), which will receive 174 new sailors.
The selection process allows candidates of both sexes to participate, provided they are aged between 17 and 23 years old by January 1, 2024.
In addition, candidates must be single, do not have children, have completed high school or are in the process of completing it, and have a height between 1.54 m and 2.00 m.
The contest will consist of written test, psychophysical selection, physical sufficiency test, verification of documents and adaptation. The written tests, which represent the first phase of the competition, are scheduled for the 19th and 20th of August.
