CARE IN TRAFFIC
Every day there are traffic accidents somewhere. To avoid these accidents we have to respect traffic laws because they were made to help everyone. That's why it's important to pay close attention to the tips and precautions in traffic:
Pay close attention because there are rude drivers. Look both ways when crossing and wait for the vehicles to stop.
Always cross at the crosswalk or on the catwalks. They were made to help you.
If the street does not have a lane or traffic lights, cross in a straight place without curves so that you can see the cars.
– Walk on the sidewalk. – If there is no sidewalk, walk close to the wall on the opposite direction of the vehicles.
– Do not run across the street.
– Do not stick your head or arms out of the window or stand in a car or bus as this could cause accidents.
– If there are police officers or municipal traffic agents, follow their directions or ask for instructions if in doubt.
– If you go to school by bus, wait for it to stop so you can get in and out.
– Avoid games that can distract the driver.
– Always wear a seatbelt and help your parents by remembering that everyone must wear a seatbelt.
– If you are under 10, you can only sit in the back seat.
– If you are going for a walk with your pet, take good care of it. Use the collar so that he doesn't walk towards the cars.
– Children are not allowed to play, skate, skate or cycle in the middle of the streets and near cars. Everyone should do these activities in the park, club, square, garden, yard, field or school.
– If the ball lands on the street, do not run to get it. Order this for an adult or see if a car is coming before you pick it up.
– Children under 18 years of age cannot drive mopeds.
To help improve traffic quality even more, we must follow these tips and teach them to everyone. After all, safe transit depends on all of us!
You will then divide the class into groups and randomly hand out a piece of advice read above to each group. To do so, the teacher will reproduce the tips on strips of paper and deliver them to the teams.
Teams will comment on the advice and illustrate it on a letter sheet, making a written caption for the image.
At the end, an exhibition of the drawings will be mounted.
Example: In the tip: Do not run to cross the street, students can illustrate a person crossing in the lane of safety and write your own tip below the drawing or invent a suitable caption such as: be careful when pass through.

Assessment: The teacher will assess whether students understand the importance of following traffic regulations and the signaling mechanism, through the suggested group activities.
