According to what appears in the extra edition of the Official Gazette, the percentage of readjustment approved corresponds to the variation of the National Index Extended Consumer Price Index (IPCA/IBGE) which refers to the period from January to December 2021, not counting the Productivity Factor.
In addition, the new rates had a correction of 9.5579% net of taxes and social contributions, since Correios is a state-owned company. Furthermore, the Ministry forecasts that the decision will take effect in May.
The information contained in the price list shown in the extra edition of the Official Gazette takes into account the weight of the product and may vary depending on the country and location of shipment and destination.

There, all services provided by Correios and the respective new prices that will be charged after the decision described in Ordinance MCOM No. 5.361 are described.
In addition, according to the report, the provisions of Ordinance MCOM No. 2697, of May 25, 2021, are revoked, with the exception of art. 3 regarding the applied percentage of 4.094%, which will be in force for 64 months, as established in Ordinance No. 432 of the Ministry of Finance, of October 17, 2017.
