Now in the beginning of the pilot phase, Magalu Vaivolta will initially serve Housi customers from Bela Cintra and Paulista units, operating in a similar way to the subscription service of home.
As a result, everyday products will be available, such as stoves, microwaves and water filters, as well as items for one-time use, such as tools or speakers for events, for example.
In addition to continuous rent, charged per month, the modality will make available the “spot lease” option, for use in 7, 15 or 30 days. The goal is to serve not only those who intend to use a device occasionally, but also to offer users the possibility of testing products before buying them.
“Having access to high-quality items on a temporary basis, whenever you need it, without worrying about space to store the product and still contributing to the circular economy; it has everything to do with the lifestyle of Housi customers,” informs the company's CEO, Alexandre Frankel. In addition, as it is a test, Vaivolta is not yet on the Magalu platforms, serving only through the official website of the proposal.
According to the service's official page, right after registering, customers served by the program should look at the list of products offered and choose the device they need. After that, an appointment will be made with the date and time of the pick-up, and payment must be made by credit card. The service offers products from famous brands such as Samsung, LG, Wap, PlayStation, Xbox, JBL, Google, Apple and others.
To make the return, the product must be repackaged and, on another date to be scheduled, the Magalu Vaivolta team will pick up the item at the registered address. The program also allows for cancellation or date changes by contacting the platform, via email [email protected] — service is available from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm.
