According to the federal government's assessment, the readjustment in fuel prices can improve people's perception of idea of privatizing the company, since Petrobras announced a new increase last Friday (17), which is already in effect.
Since the last increase, a liter of gasoline went from R$ 3.86 to R$ 4.06 in refineries, which corresponds to an increase of 5.18%. With diesel, in turn, the price of a liter went from R$ 4.91 to R$ 5.61, which corresponds to a readjustment of 14.26%.
Bolsonaro attended a service in Manaus last Saturday, where he declared “war on Petrobras”. In this sense, the president promised that the National Congress will approve a CPI in order to investigate the company for the successive readjustments in the price of fuels.
Although the privatization of Petrobras was presented as a priority by Adolfo Sachsida, the process should not moving forward this year, given that this is a complex matter and that it will have to go through several obstacles before reaching its conclusion. denouement.
