What is Student Scholarship?

The Student Scholarship Program is a Santa Catarina financial aid program for young people and adults who attend high school in the state network. The measure intends to cover up to BRL 6,250.00 in 11 installments of BRL 568.

Who is entitled to this benefit?

This is a benefit for state school students enrolled in regular high school and high school education for young people and adults (EJA). However, to guarantee receipt of the installments, the families of these students need to have a prior registration, done by December 2021 at the CadÚnico.

The State Government of Santa Catarina has already released a list of students eligible for the benefit. To check it, just access the government's own website.

What is CadUnique?

CadÚnico is a Caixa service that gathers social information on Brazilian families living in poverty and extreme poverty. With this information, the Federal Government can distribute social benefits. To enroll, the registered low-income family must:

  • Earn up to half the minimum wage per person; or
  • Earn up to 3 minimum wages of total monthly income.

Important information about Student Aid

Check out the most important information about the benefit below:

  • To maintain the aid, the student must attend school at least 75% monthly;
  • To start the process, you must inform the school office: the full name and CPF of the holder of the bank account, the number and digit of the bank account, and the number and digit of the branch to which the account is bound;
  • When the student is over 18 years old, he can inform his own bank account details.
