5G in agriculture will expand the use of artificial intelligence through autonomous machines capable of making intelligent choices without any human intervention. In addition, it will bring technology to the region of fields and farms, with an increase of 20% to 30% in the productivity of agricultural activities.
In this way, the technology will give autonomy to machines such as tractors, harvesters and others, in addition to allowing the use of drones to capture and transmit high-resolution and accurate images, ensuring more efficiency in the day-to-day day. According to the Ministry of Transport, 5G will be able to monitor the health of animals live, regardless of distance.
Also during the event, President Jair Bolsonaro, accompanied by the Minister of Communications, Fábio Faria, delivered symbolically 310 computers for students from 31 schools in Piauí, benefited by the Computers Program for Inclusion.
Thus, in addition to the computers that were delivered, the government distributed another 164 devices, totaling 474 terminals, to 14 other cities in Piauí, bringing digital inclusion to public school students through the initiative (Computers Program for Inclusion).
In addition, the population of 600 Brazilian cities received more than 25,000 refurbished machines at the Computer Reconditioning Centers (CRC), where they pass for reforms with cleaning action, tests, replacement of components, if necessary, and installation of software aimed at the environment and the sustainability.
As a result, around 17,000 people graduated from the 103 courses offered by the CRCs in the areas of information and communication technology.
The federal government also provides high-speed connectivity to over 310 schools in Piauí through Wi-Fi Brasil. In addition, there are 416 antennas in operation in the region, covering 141 cities, ensuring internet access for students and teachers. The operation currently has more than 15,000 antennas in operation throughout the country, 7,000 of which in the Northeast.
