After the Pension Reform, in 2019, several changes were adopted in the retirement application process. For example, with the transition rules, the contribution time and the age for the worker to be able to retire.
To be able to retire, the Pension Professional Profile (PPP) is the most important document. It is through it that the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) is able to identify whether or not the worker is entitled to retirement at the time of the request.
As of January 2022, the PPP will be available online for companies, on a mandatory basis. The document is the only one that presents all the worker's data. That is, the entire history of professional life over the years.
It is even through it that the INSS is able to verify the exposure of workers to agents harmful to health. Therefore, the PPP is essential for those seeking a special retirement. With the possibility of accessing the document online, the measure should reduce bureaucracy for those trying to retire.
The document will be consulted in 2022 via the INSS website or also via the “Meu INSS” application. The digital PPP will be made available gradually from January 3rd.
First, the change must be adopted by large companies, around 13 thousand in Brazil. The calendar with deadlines for adaptations to the digital PPP runs until July 11, 2022.
Thus, with the entire Social Security Professional Profile online, the expectation is that next year retirement will be easier for those interested.
