Among those called up, the vast majority play outside Brazil in international clubs like Juventus and Manchester United. Of the national clubs, only players from two teams – Flamengo and Palmeiras – were called up by Tite. This is the case of Weverton, Pedro and Everton. Check out the squad for the 2022 World Cup.
One of the names on coach Tite's list left the Brazilians very surprised. Right-back Daniel Alves, who currently wears the shirt of the Pumas team, from Mexico, is drawing a lot of attention. The athlete who is now 39 years old was left out of the last lists for the selection's friendlies against Ghana and Tunisia, that is, the last games before the world cup. Because of that, the Brazilians didn't even imagine that the winger would have any chance of being called to defend the selection in this event.
From this call up, Daniel Alves became the oldest Brazilian player to play in a World Cup. Soon after, we have defender Thiago Silva, also summoned at the age of 38. Both have defended the national team before.

In all, there are 26 names that will be with Tite in the world in search of the sixth championship. The tournament will start in Qatar on November 20th and will end on December 18th. Our Brazilian team already has a date set to debut on the field. Mark the calendar: it will be on November 24th. Our team will face the selection of Serbia.
Brazil is in group G, in the initial phase of the competition, along with Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon.
