In addition, the Federal Court of Auditors carried out a survey in May and identified a series of errors in the National Social Information Register (CNIS). Among the errors are incomplete data and, what is most surprising, more than 14 million people killed on payrolls.
It was observed that there are, in all, 14,664,351 people who have death records in other databases official records, such as the Death Control System (Sisobi), but which do not have a date of death in the CNIS. Therefore, there are almost 15 million benefits that may be improperly paid.

Despite the numerous irregularities that actually exist, some people end up losing their benefit unduly. Therefore, it is important to understand how this occurs and how you can regularize your situation.
The dispute can be given in two ways: through an administrative appeal directed to the INSS, or you can initiate a lawsuit in order to restore the benefit. Regardless of the situation, it is recommended to seek a lawyer to ensure adequate guidance.
Separate the documents that support your allegations and prepare a petition describing all the facts. If you don't know how to do it, consult normative instruction nº 77 of 2015.
Later, access the Meu INSS website or application, log in and look for the “requirements” option. Then select New Application, type “reactivate” in the search field and select this option.
Then add the documents and the petition and finally submit the request. Save the proof of delivery and follow the request through the website or app. If necessary, the INSS will contact you to arrange a face-to-face appointment.
