Lent is a 40-day liturgical period leading up to the celebration of Easter. It aims to celebrate the overlapping of good with evil, which marks the defeat of death and sin. With this, to prepare for the period, Catholics are invited to fast and, above all, to abstain from certain things in order to have a Lent “in peace”.

indifference to others
