On these occasions, the most obvious solution is to block the contact, so that the person does not have access to your number and, consequently, does not bother you anymore. It turns out that some people are very concerned about the possibility of being discovered, as the application notifies the contact is unavailable.
So, if you want to block a contact without them being notified immediately, here's a wonderful hack.
Although blocking a contact is entirely your right, we know that it can be a little uncomfortable. However, do not worry, because the solution that we are going to present to you will make WhatsApp not send any message by placing your number as “unavailable”.
That way, the person will simply send you messages that you won't even receive, which might make them think you've lost their number, or something like that. For this, you should not go directly to the person's contact and select the block, as we commonly think of doing.
In this case, you will have to go to the Menu, those three dots that are in the upper right corner of the home screen, and click on “Settings”. Then select the option “Account” and then “Privacy”. Now, select the “Blocked” option.
In this tab you will see all the blocked contacts, if any, and there will also be the option “Add”, select and choose the desired contact. And it's done! You are free from worries without generating any uncomfortable situation.
Another alternative to blocking, which is more radical, but which still allows you to use WhatsApp without seeing that unwanted notification, is archiving. To do this, just select the contact on the home screen, where the conversations are, and then go to the “Archive” icon.
This icon is also in the upper right corner, next to the three dots in the menu, and only appears when the conversation is selected. Even with the new WhatsApp update, the contact will remain archived even if there are new messages.
Great, isn't it? With these tips you will certainly not be bothered anymore. So save this matter to reread, and share our content with friends!
