A family of rabbits, which lived in the middle of the forest, consisted of a happy couple and three cubs. They were called, respectively, Tap, Tep and Tip.
Tip, the smallest of the three, had a reputation among the neighborhood as a glutton. I used to leave the house in the morning and only returned at night. His parents were always worried about him.
“It's not good that you're out of the house so long, Tip. There are many dangers in the forest. — his mother told him with great tenderness. “It's okay for you to take a walk once in a while, but anything that's excessive can have bad consequences.
Tip didn't care for her mother's words, and continued with the habit. On a stormy day, he returned earlier than usual. I wasn't doing well. His appearance was not pleasant. Tip got into bed while her parents called the doctor. He found that Tip was suffering from indigestion. So, taking care of his parents, he decided to tell what had happened.
“I went into a vegetable garden on the outskirts of the woods and… I ate three bags of carrots. said Tip.
The parents were stunned. It also did not take long for the owner of the vegetable garden to appear at the family's house, demanding that they pay for the carrots.
'Don't worry, sir. Father Rabbit promised him. “My son will work until the debt is paid. You can be sure he will never steal your carrots again.
Daddy Rabbit was right. Tip realized that being gluttonous and disobedient did him no good. From that day on, he began to eat correctly and to occupy his time to pay off the debt to the owner of the garden.
