There was once a kitten, who lived in a cave in the woods. One fine day, he received a letter from a relative of his who lived in the city, announcing his upcoming visit. Very happy to see her relative again, she went looking for food to please the visitor. His forest friends helped him find her.
The relative arrived, proud and condescending. Accustomed to the refined delicacies of the city, he did not appreciate the food that his host offered him. Before leaving, our kitten's relative invited him to visit him.
Once in the city, the kitten in the woods had a hard time finding his relative's house. Noises, startles, people's footsteps, continuous threats from cars… All of this made him very nervous.
Her relative received him kindly, offering him a formidable feast: a long table, laden with the most delicious delicacies, filled the dining room. During the meal, however, the town cat's housekeeper came in, screaming and waving a brush: a stray dog was chasing her, full of rage.
Very nervous and terrified, our kitten returned to his home in the woods. He thought he wasn't worth all the luxury and wealth in exchange for tranquility and inner peace. He preferred to continue living as before. His relative in town would likely end up with a nervous illness or a stomach ulcer. He, on the contrary, would remain as happy and healthy as he had always been.
