Thief praises victim on the internet after robbery: 'She was too beautiful to steal'

Regrettably, one woman named Amber Beraun, she was the victim of an armed robbery while leaving her Indianapolis home to pick up some mail.

The incident occurred when she was approached by a man identified as Damien Boyce. In addition to stealing $100 from her, the assailant had additional intentions that have yet to be revealed.

However, after Amber suffered the assault and had her tranquility shaken, the attacker continued to harass her through social networks, as if the crime she committed was not enough.

She received an invitation on Facebook from the robber himself

After the robbery, assailant Damien Boyce had the audacity to ask Amber Beraun out on Facebook and made a disrespectful comment, saying she was "too pretty to steal".

While Boyce may have considered it a flattering gesture from her, Amber had a completely different take on this inappropriate approach.

In an interview with WRTV Indianapolis, she expressed her bewilderment regarding the thought process of someone who would act this way.

Boyce's attitude demonstrates a lack of understanding of the consequences of her actions and disrespect for the traumatic experience Amber went through.

Amber Beraun decided to share her experience in a broader context, joining a group of women who, due to their gender, have been victims of robbery or assault.

She stressed the importance of addressing this issue, noting that, especially in youth, it is something that is always present in our thoughts, although we never believe that it will actually happen with us.

After the incident, the criminal, who left the house on his bicycle, started sending messages to the victim on Facebook. In one of those messages, he stated: “Look, I just know that I will pay you back. You didn't deserve to be robbed for being too pretty."

According to information from Nicole Green, news anchor for WRTV Indianapolis, the criminal was arrested for allegedly participating in another armed robbery resulting in two people shot.

However, it remains unclear whether Boyce has appeared in court to date, and whether he has been tried for the crimes he allegedly committed.
