Power point presentation (prepared by the professor) on the economic aspects of the five largest regions in Brazil: South, Southeast, Midwest, North and Northeast. The teacher will explain the content covered, answering the students' questions, after which the summary of the Power point and some questions on the blackboard (designed by the teacher) for students to copy in notebooks and the correction of the activities will be orally.
Power point presentation (prepared by the teacher) about the natural aspects of Brazil – types of climate, vegetation and Brazilian landscapes. The teacher will explain the content covered, answering the students' questions, soon after the teacher will record the Power summary point and some questions on the blackboard (designed by the teacher) for students to copy in notebooks and the correction of the activities will be orally.
Afterwards, students should watch videos from www.youtube.com called:
Geographical look – natural aspects of the northeast region, Drought in the northeast, fantastic from the Globo-20/01/2013 network. Then, students must develop activities of interpretation of the watched videos.
Students will be divided into 5 groups to carry out research on political aspects, economic and typical foods of the regions studied (each group should present 3 slides just for the class). Students should also prepare two typical practicals from the region studied and explain the importance of this dish or drink (non-alcoholic) for the region. We will make the socialization of them in the classroom with the participation of everyone.
Learning Assessment:
The student will be evaluated continuously throughout the bimester.
All activities developed by the student in class and homework will be evaluated.
The student will be evaluated for active participation in the classroom.
Seminar evaluation - consistency in the facts presented.
