In view of the increase in the price of oil and its derivatives, such as fuels, the Federal Government approved the creation of BEm Caminhoneiro, which will benefit around 900,000 self-employed freight transporters, according to the forecast of the government. There is great anticipation around this program.
If you are a truck driver and are concerned about proving the use of the aid money, know that it will not be necessary to prove that the benefit was used to purchase diesel. This is because Joint Ordinance 6, from the Ministries of Labor and Social Security and Infrastructure, which was published in an extra edition of the Official Gazette of the Union on August 2nd, this requirement is waived proof.
The payment of the aid will be divided into six installments, paid from August to December, the first of which will be paid in double, as it corresponds to the months of July and August. In this way, initially the drivers contemplated by the BEm Caminhoneiro will receive R$ 2 thousand, and the other installments will be of R$ 1 thousand each.
Payment will be made through a digital social savings account opened in the name of the beneficiary at a public bank (Banco do Brasil or Caixa Econômica Federal). The amount will be available for withdrawal for 90 days. After that, if it is not withdrawn, it will return to federal coffers.
Although it is not necessary to prove the use of the benefit for the purchase of fuel, it is relevant mention that the payment of the six installments will only take place after reviewing the list of truck drivers beneficiaries.
Therefore, if any irregularity is found, the benefit will be canceled and the truck driver will be summoned to voluntarily refund the amounts improperly received through a Union Collection Guide (GRU).
