emily in paris is officially back with Netflix releasing the Season 2 trailer ahead of its Dec. 22 premiere.
The hit series stars Lily Collins, who will return to the show in the titular role of Emily, accompanied by Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razate and William Abadi. Entering Emily's world in Paris is Lucien Laviscount, who will play Emily's new love interest.

The first season of the series revolved around the life of Emily, a 20-year-old girl living in Chicago who took a huge leap of faith when she became move to Paris in pursuit of an unforeseen but transformative career opportunity, where she will work for a marketing firm french.
The young marketing executive was enlisted to give her vision as an American to help drive the company's growth. As she begins to navigate her new life abroad, she tries to learn and keep up with cultural changes, make new friends and immerse herself in romantic relationships.
At the end of the first season, fans were left in a cliffhanger as Emily had just slept with her handsome neighbor, Gabriel. Gabriel was ready to embark on a new life in Normandy the next day, but as we see in the new trailer, he's staying in Paris after all. Emily must now unravel this complicated web and discover what (and who) she really wants.
The trailer shows us an anxious Emily as she runs and refers to her life in Paris as "chaotic, dramatic and complicated”, something caused as much by work problems as by his growing life loving.
We also see her boss, Sylvie (Leroy-Beaulieu) give her some advice, saying, "You have the rest Make your life as dull as you like, but while you're here, fall in love, make mistakes. If you're going to spend a year in Paris, for God's sake, do it right!”
The first season of Darren Starr's creation won critical acclaim and was even nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award, as well as receiving two Golden Globe nominations.
