A augmented reality or FROG, is a technology that presents us with virtual objects and information in our field of vision. If I'm walking down the street, for example, and I point my smartphone at a certain place, it can give me more information, like the names of cafes, gyms, dentists, etc.
Augmented reality gives you data about the things you can see. It improves technology by adding elements to the real world.

Augmented reality technology presents users with virtual objects in their natural environment. Users, who wear virtual reality glasses or look at the screen of a smartphone / tablet, see information about what they are looking at.
Computer scientists at the Technical University of Munich believe that seven sectors of the economy will face drastic disruption in the future because of virtual and augmented reality. The seven sectors are: retail, music, auto repair shops, manufacturing, communications, IT services and education.
