This last Friday, Petrobras announced the readjustment of fuel prices, with an increase of 18.8% in the price of gasoline and 24.9% in the price of diesel. The measure aims to match prices with the international market, but ends up affecting the pockets of those who need to use the car.
People who work with transportation, such as taxi drivers, app drivers, truck drivers and others are the most affected by these constant increases. With this, the Chamber provides for the payment of gasoline aid for these workers. Know more!

Last Thursday, the 10th, the Senate approved a series of measures to minimize the impact on fuel prices based on Bill (PL) 1,472/2021. The goal is to change the fuel calculation formula, create price stabilization and seek ways to minimize impacts on the consumer's pocket.
Thus, the central idea is to delay the rise in prices so that the increases passed on are lighter for the consumer's pocket. Thus, the prices passed on to the consumer would not be so high.
In addition, the project also provides for the creation of gasoline assistance for self-employed drivers, taxi drivers and app riders, the benefit can be between R$ 100 and R$ 300.00.
The main purpose of the aid is to contain fuel costs for low-income professionals. Thus, the target audience will be taxi drivers, app riders and self-employed drivers.
This project will benefit people who are enrolled in the Brazil aid and will cost around R$ 3 billion reais for the public coffers. However, to the extent that inflation is controlled, the economy tends to flow and heat up.
The aid provides for the payment of 12 installments of R$ 300.00 to self-employed individual transport drivers. For those who have motorcycles of up to 125 cc, installments of R$ 100.00 will be paid.
The project has already been accepted by the Senate, but approvals from some instances are still missing for it to be passed on to workers.
