Last Tuesday, the 18th, the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) announced a new public tender to fill the post of associate professor at the institution, with a vacancy that requires exclusivity from the professional. The public notice published indicates that the vacancy will be offered to the professional who works in the area of Communication and Advertising Theories, Consumption Studies.
The professor will be directed to the Department of Social Communication of the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Registration began on April 18th, last Tuesday and on the day the public notice was launched, and will run until June 16th of this year. The candidate must register completely online, with a participation fee of R$ 215.99, through the Union Collection Guide (GRU).

The candidate will be evaluated with the written test during the first stage, with the didactic tests and the approval of the titles in the second stage. It is likely that the last two steps will be face-to-face.
When approved, the assistant professor's remuneration will range from R$ 4,472.64 to R$ 9,616.18, with a shift of work 40 hours a week and full dedication is required to work as an adjunct professor at the university federal.
The final deadline for the validation of this tender will be one year, according to the publication of the public notice and the approval of the result of the tender. Like any other public tender, it can be extended for the same duration or for a longer period.
