A Secretary of Education of the State of Bahia (SEC/BA) public notice SEC/SUDEPE nº 001/2019, which aims to fill 190 vacancies for the position of indigenous teacher for activity in some municipalities of the state of Bahia. The contest will be held by State University of Bahia (UNEB).
Candidates must have a medium level together with training in indigenous teaching, be indigenous and be a member of the ethnic group in which they will carry out their activities. The salary is fixed at the amount of R$1,014.35, equivalent to a 20-hour week. Vacancies are being offered by the municipalities of Ilhéus, Prado, Banzaê, Ibotirama, Euclides da Cunha, Eunápolis, Glória and Paulo Afonso.
Vacancies
The bank reserves 5 vacancies of the total offered for people with disabilities. With the remaining 185, broad competition. The hiring of those approved will be based on the Special Regime of Administrative Law – REDA.

Evidences
The means of evaluation was limited to only an objective test containing 40 multiple-choice questions, each worth one point. The content of the exam will be about General Knowledge, relating subjects of Language, Mathematics, Society and Nature and by contents of Specific Knowledge, covering the disciplines of the National Curriculum Reference / Specific Legislation and General Notions of Equality Racial.
The tests will take place in the cities of Bom Jesus da Lapa, Euclides da Cunha, Eunápolis, Itabuna, Paulo Afonso and Teixeira de Freitas, with the intended date for March 31, 2019.
Candidates will have a limited time of four hours to complete the test, and will only be able to leave two hours after the beginning of the evaluation.
Approval and tiebreaker criteria
The minimum grade for approval of the selection process is 50% correct in the objective test, provided that no discipline is zeroed. That is, 20 points of hits will be counted. In the event of a tie in the score between two or more candidates, the following criteria will be applied:
Validity
The selection will be valid for one year, from the approval of the final result, with chances of extension for another year, at the discretion of the Secretary of Education of the State of Bahia (SEC - BA).
