The agreements with the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep) began in 2014, with the University of Coimbra and the University of Algarve being the pioneers.

Those interested will be able to access the Inep page and go to the Portuguese institutions that have already signed an agreement to look for the one of interest.

To Exame's report, the president of Inep, Alexandre Lopes reported that from the renewal of the agreements, the agency gave start of a survey of the number of Brazilian students already enrolled or who are already studying in the institutions portuguese. “This survey has never been done and we are going to start this work”, he said.
